Unlike vanilla minecraft, it is required to tame animals to feed and breed them. Additionally wild animals flee and do not serve their products.
Taming value[]
Every animals have taming value. It can be both negative and positive, negative-wild and positive-tamed. In detail, animals with taming value less than -1 is considered as wild, more than +1 is tamed, and between -1 and +1 is neutral.

Behavior[]
Animals behave differently according to their taming value.
Wild Animals[]
Wild animals run from the player. They are not likely to eat the dropped food from the players. Wild animals never use a trough. Players can not feed them and collect the harvest products (milk, wool) from them.
Neutral Animals[]
These animals ignore players and do not run away. Sometimes they eat dropped food too. However, they do not use the trough and the players still can not feed them and collect their harvest products.
Tamed Animals[]
Tamed animals are perfect. They like players so they follow players that hold food. These animals always eat fallen food and also foods in players' hand. They eat food in trough. Players can harvest products from them.
Taming Animals[]
Neutralization[]
Wild animals become familiar to players when they are close enough. This is very slow process. They can be tamed to be neutral by this method.
Tamed animals also become neutralized without player for a long time. Don't leave them alone.
Feed[]
Wild animals hardly eat fallen foods, but they do. Especially, hungry animals eat fallen food well even if they are wild. This will increase taming value a lot.
Attack[]
Attacked animals become wild (or exclusive to player) almost immediately.

Capture[]
Before tame animals, you need animals. Because wild animals flee, it is difficult to drive them into your pen. One recommendation is lead. HA adds lead recipe with tendon.
Starve[]
After putting animals into your pen, make sure that the animals are starving. You should change your floor from grass block, or construct roof to prevent grass to grow.
Feed[]
Then, throw any edible food to animals. Food with higher nutrient is better to tame. One suggestion is hay bale. Don't worry about the animal not eating food. Do your business and come back later. Then check taming value.
